Balloons
So beautiful in color
So magical and
Full of joy and hope.
And I try to hold on
But one by one
They pull away
And float out of reach
I grasp and clutch
But can't keep them here.
"Let them go," my Father says.
"They are beautiful but
They are not eternal,
They are magical but
They are just full of air.
"Don't hold on so tight
Don't try so hard.
I am the balloon you need!
I am bigger and stronger
And I will hold you -
I will lift you up
And carry you by my grace.
